Mock Stamps

Concept: The goal was to create a small series of stamps that followed the official guidelines the USPS stamp forever needed to follow, and create my interpretation.

Target Audience: The audience for this set falls into one of two categories. On one hand, these designs would be intriguing because of the abstract design, but on the other hand, they apply to people who are interested in Hawaiian fish.

Role in Project: My role in this project was creating the design and layout for three stamps. Creating three designs that were strong enough to stand alone, as well as complement the other two.

Skills: I evaluated the patterns of tropical fish local to Hawaii and recreated an abstract version in Adobe Illustrator. 

Problems and Solutions: One of the challenges I faced with this project was overcoming the mindset that the stamps needed to be fish. But in reality, the designs are only inspired by the fish's patterns.
